As many of you know the FOIA process can be very difficult. Districts overcharge, deny information making you appeal and just plain hide information by claiming personell related or they don’t have a report for that item, thus they don’t have to create it.

There is now a website devoted to adiing in this process. It’s name is WikiFOIA. You can jump directly to the Illinois page here. I will be adding the issues surrounding my FOIA trials and successes as I have time.

I wish this resource had been available when I first started my blog. It would have made my life much easier. I am making this a call for more bloggers. You this resource to start FOIAing information from you school district or taxing body. If you need help starting a website, please contact me and I will give you some suggestions on where to start.
