D46 Board Candidate Responses

I sent a letter to the 5 candidates running for school board in District 46 asking several questions. I provided each with my email address and a stamped self addressed envelope to use to return their responses. This was sent on Tuesday, March 13th advising that I wanted to provide my readers with answers around April 1.
UPDATE: Two candidates have now responded.
I do not hold out much hope of communication with the community after being elected if they will not communicate before elected.

The PTO will be holding a candidate forum on April 9th. The details are below:
Location: Frederick School multi-purpose room
Time: 7:00-9:00 PM

UPDATE: The following is how the forum will be handled according to PTO representative Laura Hobart.

We are planning on giving each candidate a few minutes to speak about who they are and why they are running for the school board position. We will then open the floor up for questions from the audience. After questions, we are having coffee and cookies and letting the public mingle and talk to the candidates as they wish. |
