Introducing COSLA

There has been a group of citizens watching the Waukegan schools for a while now. They have been videotaping the school board meetings and putting snippets up on the web. They are linked on the right side of the page along with documents and audio.

There name is Community Organizing for School Leadership Accountability (COSLA). Please visit their site and pass the link on to your neighbors, friends and parents of students in Waukegan Schools.

One of their first posts is entitled “The truth comes out“. This story is about how the district basically admitted guilt in the reverse discrimination case of Janet Ring. This agreement is estimated to cost the district and of course the taxpayers close to $1,000,000 dollars. Go read the details. This group is well on its way to present the truth to the citizens of Waukegan that the school board is attempting to sweep away.
