For about $120,000, the district will upgrade its database software and operating systems. Business manager Dan Aggen says the upgrades will help the district deal with all kinds of student data, and the new operating systems should extend the life of computers. First, though, next year’s students will be tested, a first step to identifying gifted ones. The results also can be used to classify special needs in non-gifted children. |
