The Daily Herald Opinion Section today brings us news that the pictures of the new high school voters just approved in Indian Prairie District 204 looks more like club med than a high school. Just remember voters, it was for the kids. They need to relax from all the pressure they receive in high school. They have to take tests and remember Blagojevich raised graduation requirements. How do you expect to learn in anything less than the lap of luxury? I bet there are even studies produced by some educrat showing this is true. Just ask the District for a copy.

Club Med High: There is a picture being circulated of what the new, $124.7 million Indian Prairie High School voters just approved would look like. If you see it, you can almost hear the steel drums, feel the tropical sun warmly kissing your flesh, and taste the pina coladas. The artist’s rendition shows a cross-shaped building beside a lake with an island. District 204 officials are quick to say the photo is not an accurate depiction of the final product. Well, we did think they were building a school, not a Caribbean resort. What would they plan to do? Rent out time shares in the idle summer months? |
If anyone has a copy of the picture, I’ll gladly post it.
