The following was reported today by the Daily Herald. A Round Lake Park Trustee is calling for District 46 School Board member Kristen Coe-Peek to resign.

Since then, Round Lake Park village trustee John Teubert has sent a letter to three local newspapers, saying Coe Peek should step down from the board because she set a bad example for children.

“If you want to be a leader, someone who is tasked with making tough decisions that affect our children, you need to hold yourself to a higher standard,”

    Good thoughts.

Here’s the thing. If Ms. Coe-Peek goes, then it is only right that all the teachers and administration in Lake County should go too that have had DUI’s. They work directly with the students and it seems only fair. No double standards. I guess then… we would see if there was agenda there or not… right? I wonder how many people the district would loose?

Good comments, I like your suggestion that she speaks within the school district.
