A student at Frederick was burned on his finger when he accidentally stuck his finger with a paper clip wrapped around it into an electrical socket. I have not received confirmation on the date this incident occurred but it was on or near Wednesday, Nov. 17th. The student was taken to the hospital to be treated.

I confirmed this incident with Superintendent Ellen Correll. She also was able to tell me that students at the school have been reminded not to put objects into outlets and Maintenance is exploring ways to make sure things are corrected if they need to be.
