No Money for Website Visits
NO, I DO NOT receive any money from or for people visiting my site. I do have Google Ads in the side bar. If a visitor decides to click on one of them, then yes, there is the potential for me to earn a few pennies. Since I started my website around 6 months ago I have not recieved a single penny from this. I have paid for my website totally out of my own funds with no external assistance from anyone. Again, please email me if wish further clarification.
Now, back to the topic at hand. I only post links for the most part now because I do not have the comfort level that my privacy will be upheld. When the Information Committee can assure me that it will be, by setting policies for all users to abide by, I will be happy to post my thoughts on d46.info again. Until that time, I will continue to post links only.
I will reiterate again that I do not recieve any money just because someone visits my website.

CJB and Jen, what is your point? I have not hidden anything. You can easily visit my site and see what I am doing as you have done. Why don’t you both please tell us who you are instead of hiding behind aliases while accusing me of hiding information?
I believe D46.info is self funded. I believe they also wanted to start a swap shop to help pay for their site. How many people contribute money now to them to pay for their site?
I am funding my own site and have been since it started without others. I have repeated many times, I have made a few dollars now from the AdSense ads that visitors have to choose to click on. This will not pay for my site and I don’t expect to even get a check from them until several years from now at the rate current ad click rate. I added BlogAds just recently to try and help me pay for the site. The quote Jen found after searching BlogAds (not from clicking the link as she said) was placed there by me. The number of 699 pageviews is not even from Education Matters itself, but by adding the views from both of my blogs and my blog aggregator site. Education Matters is the middle in visits of the 3 sites. My other blog has more than double the visits of Education Matters and the other site combined. That is the blog that will most likely get an advertiser first. As for the price, those are the base prices recommended by BlogAds when I signed up. It would take several ads to pay for the continued cost of my blogs’ operation. You are beginning to border on an invasion of my privacy again.
If you think that the clicks from D46.info are going to make me money then you are overestimating the importance of that site. As far as the links from D46.info, here are the numbers:
Nov. – 1.7% of total visits
Oct. – 2.0% of total visits
Sep. – 1.4% of total visits
What is also very interesting is that if I wanted more visits from D46.info I should actually post more than links. I know you are wondering why? It’s elementary.
Aug. – 3.9% of total visits
July – 4.4% of total visits
As you can see, I had twice as many visits when I was making full posts instead of links. So, I’m actually decreasing my visits by posting only links.
I have stated many times I will gladly post again instead of just putting links when the administrators put a policy in place about when they will edit posts and how they will handle people using multiple aliases. They have also denied my website being linked because they claim it is not related to D46 enough. So, again I ask, what is your point?
If I am not a D46 related site what difference does it make how I try to help pay for my site? Do you believe my site is related to D46 and provides relevant information to it?
To reiterate again to all those confused by all of this, I DO NOT RECEIVE MONEY just because someone clicks or visits my site. I only will make money if someone chooses to click an ad or someone chooses to advertise on my site. The ads are here to hopefully one day help pay for my site. It will never make money because of the links on D46.info as you can see from above.
For eveyone’s knowledge, I have spent close to $200 on this blog since March. The only money I have made has been about $6.00 since March from the Google AdSense. That is the combined amount from both blogs. I will not even receive that money until it reaches $100. The clicks are averaging about $1 per month so you can see how long it will be before I reach that level. So, I have spent $200 so far and received nothing. The amount spent is continuing to grow every month.
I find it ridiculous that I have to reveal my financial information regarding this site to people who are hostile to my site, my family and myself. I want to make sure everyone knows I am above board and not using this for financial gain. The truth is that many of the nameless people accusing me of wrong doing are hiding behind alias and not letting us know who they really are.
If I had discovered a way of getting paid everytime someone clicks on my site, I could become the next Bill Gates. As you can see, that has not happening.

I have shared much more information than most people would be willing to share. You have also researched and exposed more information about me than I would have ever shared as well. You keep accusing me of hiding things while you continue to hide behind an alias. You and others have been able to research everything about my site with ease because I am not hiding it.
This seems to be very personal with you. I am not sure what I have done to you that offends you so. Please contact me so we can discuss whatever the issue is and resolve it. We need to move on with helping the District.
